Gibson County's next Election May 2026

The Clerk of the Circuit Court also serves as the Secretary to the County Election Board which is responsible for conducting all elections in the county including the certification of results.

2026 PRIMARY ELECTION, TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2026

To vote by Absentee Ballot:

You can submit an application online at Indianavoters.in.gov

To request an ABS Application by calling the office at 812-385-2541.

or print off an application here and mail it to: 

Gibson County Election Office, 101 N. Main Street, Princeton, IN 47670.

Absentee by Mail Voters are now required to provide identification information by either:

  1. Providing IN Driver License/IN ID Card Number, Unique Voter Registration Number, or Last 4 digits of Social Security Number. One of these numbers must match the number used when registering to vote.

  2. Submitting a photocopy of your valid IN Driver License/IN ID Card or other form of ID that complies with Indiana Voter ID Law.

All completed applications must be received and approved in the Election Office by 11:59 p.m Date To Be Determined.
