The Clerk’s Child Support Office is located at the Gibson County Courthouse at 101 N Main Street. If you have questions regarding child support, you may call the Child Support Division at 812-386-8401. The office is closed on Saturday, Sunday, and all legal holidays. Hours are 8-4:00 p.m.
If you have a court order in Gibson County stating you should pay Child Support through the Clerk’s Office or INSCCU, please visit this office to get your case set up. Participants must provide name, address, phone, and social security number for each person in the case. Please remember to keep this information up to date with this office. Once completed, the Child Support staff will discuss policy and procedures with you.
Modify Court Orders:
The Clerk’s office cannot start, stop, increase, or decrease Child Support within the ISETS system without a Court Order. If you do not have an attorney, please refer to www.mychildsupport.in.gov for court forms and instructions.

Payments can be viewed only online at www.mychildsupport.in.gov.
Printouts of a Payment History can only be obtained in the Child Support office. Please check with the clerks about the fee for printouts.
Receiving Child Support:
Child Support will be distributed in one of three ways, either added to a Debit card issued by the State of Indiana, by Direct Deposit, or by check. If child support is paid in the clerk’s office, you will receive your payment by a check that is mailed to you.

If you need your case enforced, please contact the Child Support Enforcement Division located in the Gibson County Prosecutor’s Office at 812-386-7640.”
