Gibson County Animal Services is contracted by Gibson County but a private entity. 

Open to Public Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm.

Gibson County Animal Services is located at 3840 CR 175 E.

Directions: From US HWY 41 take North Toyota Entrance (CR 350 S) East for 1 mile. Take a Right at the Soccer fields (CR 175 E). Go ¼ mile and GCAS is located on the Left.

Our Services

Rescue

We’re on call 24 hours/day for rescue-related emergencies. We pick up stray animals and accept turn-ins from owners.

Protect

Our job is to ensure the animals residing at the shelter are safe, happy and healthy while they are awaiting new homes.

Adopt

When a prospective new owner arrives, we do everything we can to make sure each animal is placed in a loving, permanent home

Mission

The mission of Gibson County Animal Services is two-fold. First, we seek to educate the public on the importance of proper animal care and responsible pet ownership so the need for stray and lost animals to be brought to the shelter can be reduced or eliminated. Second, we seek to ensure the animals residing at the shelter are safe, happy, and healthy while they are awaiting new homes.

How To Adopt

Visit the Gibson County Animal Services website https://www.gcasonline.org/.

Step 1: Call and schedule an appointment to meet the animals.  In the meantime, look at available animals. 

Step 2: Meet the pets. You will be given a large exercise area for you and the pet to get to know each other. 

Step 3: Start the Adoption Process. The policies and applications are on the website.

Company Overview

Gibson County Animal Services (G.C.A.S.), a private non-profit organization providing, animal control services, was established on July 18, 1996. Our facility serves as a temporary home for thousands of stray, injured, or abandoned animals each year. G.C.A.S. is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to handle all types of animal-related concerns in Gibson County. Our responsibilities include stray animal pick-ups, animal turn-ins by their owners, investigation of animal abuse complaints, animal bite quarantines, and all animal rescues.
