NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF DECLARATORY RESOLUTION
AND PUBLIC HEARING
GIBSON COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-09
Notice is hereby given that on October 13, 2026, the Gibson County Council, as the designating body under IC 6-1.1-12.1, adopted Resolution No. 2026-09, a declaratory resolution designating the area described below as an economic revitalization area for purposes of a real property tax deduction (tax abatement) under IC 6-1.1-12.1-3.
The area consists of approximately 12.9 acres located at 4827 West State Road 64, Princeton, Indiana 47670, Parcel No. 26-11-08-400-000.247-027, in Patoka Township, Taxing District 027. The owner and applicant is Superior Property Holdings, LLC, an affiliate of Nix Companies, Inc., which proposes to construct a building of approximately 20,000 to 22,000 square feet at an estimated cost of $2,500,000.
A description of the area is available and can be inspected in the office of the Gibson County Assessor.
The Gibson County Council will receive and hear all remonstrances and objections from interested persons at a public hearing on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in the Commissioners’ meeting room at the Gibson County Southwest Annex, 107 South Hart Street, Princeton, Indiana 47670. After the hearing, the Council will take final action determining whether the qualifications for an economic revitalization area have been met and confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the resolution, as provided in IC 6-1.1-12.1-2.5.
