Gibson County is a county located in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Indiana. As of 2024, the population was 32,806. Gibson County’s Alphanumeric County Number is 26. The county seat is Princeton.

There have been some recent developments on the Francisco Solar project. As a result of these developments, the Council will NOT vote on the abatement, and the Commissioners will NOT vote on the EDA. The earliest those two issues will be addressed is at the regular January meetings. At most, the only action taken during the meetings on Tuesday, December 16, will be the Commissioners voting to approve the solar permit application.
