GCAS Joined the Statewide Adoption Event to Celebrate Indiana Loves Shelter Pets With Adoption Palooza October 18. We helped over TWENTY pets find new homes.
We are grateful to Axel Freudenberg for once again hosting a golf scramble to benefit GCAS at the Oakland City Golf Club on October 12. His hard work and dedication involved in hosting the Canine Classics has been a great benefit to GCAS.

GCAS Groundbreaking - June 14, 2025
GCAS thanks ALL who have helped us toward this first step in the construction of the NEW Gibson County Animal Services shelter. We are grateful for each and every one of you and your donations, prayers, and hard work–not to mention the sunny interlude that came through for us in the afternoon! We also thank Andrea Howe and the Princeton Daily Clarion for the fantastic news coverage in the June 17 issue.
GCAS enjoys getting out into the community, especially when our furry residents can meet the public. From visits with the Easter Bunny and Santa to Gibson Dog walking in parades and our annual Open House in October, GCAS stays involved in the community. Check out our albums on Facebook!
