Directions: From US HWY 41 take North Toyota Entrance (CR 350 S) East for 1 mile. Take a Right at the Soccer fields (CR 175 E). Go ¼ mile and GCAS is located on the Left.
Mission
The mission of Gibson County Animal Services is two-fold.
First, we seek to educate the public on the importance of proper animal care and responsible pet ownership so the need for stray and lost animals to be brought to the shelter can be reduced or eliminated.
Second, we seek to ensure the animals residing at the shelter are safe, happy, and healthy while they are awaiting new homes.
Company Overview
Gibson County Animal Services (G.C.A.S.), a private non-profit organization providing, animal control services, was established on July 18, 1996. Our facility serves as a temporary home for thousands of stray, injured, or abandoned animals each year.
G.C.A.S. is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to handle all types of animal-related concerns in Gibson County. Our responsibilities include stray animal pick-ups, animal turn-ins by their owners, investigation of animal abuse complaints, animal bite quarantines, and all animal rescues.
